Frequent Asked Questions

While walk-ins are welcome, we do recommend scheduling an appointment so we can give you our full attention during your visit.

A site visit is the perfect way for us to take accurate measurements and understand your space.

We offer site visits across different parishes in Jamaica. Just share your location, and we’ll let you know about availability. 😊

The cost of a site visit varies by location, starting at JMD $9,500 in Kingston. For reference, visits to Ocho Rios are JMD $26,500, and Montego Bay is JMD $47,500.

Please note that site visit charges are non-refundable and not credited toward your design or product price.

Our design fees start at USD $85 / JMD $13,500, and vary based on your space:

  • USD $3.50/sq ft – Custom Designs
  • USD $2.70/sq ft – With elevations provided
  • USD $2.00/sq ft – Ready-to-Assemble

A 50% credit will be applied to any single space with a design fee over USD $1,000, provided the deposit on the product is received within three months.

Even if you have an existing design and images, our design fee covers the expertise of our team to refine and tailor the space to your needs. This includes design review meetings, detailed customization using our software, and the precise integration of finishes, hardware, lighting, and accessories—down to the millimeter. You’ll also receive 3D renderings that bring your vision to life, with thoughtful enhancements to ensure functionality, cohesion, and quality.

While measurements are a helpful starting point, they aren’t enough on their own to provide an accurate estimate for custom designs. Each project is unique, and pricing is influenced by several factors — including the product measurements, layout, selected finishes, hardware, and functional elements.

If you have a budget in mind, feel free to share it. We can advise whether your vision is achievable within that range.

For our Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) product line — which includes Kitchen, Walk-in Closet, and Sliding Closet options — we can provide a rough estimate based on the clarity of your floor plan and layout.

Once your design is finalized, we’ll prepare a detailed quotation for both custom and RTA solutions.

Design finalization typically takes around 10 business days, depending on the scope and the pace of your decision-making. For more complex or whole-house projects, the design phase may extend over a few weeks.

Once your design is approved, production usually takes 4 to 6 weeks, depending on materials and complexity. Shipping can take an additional 8 weeks.

After your order arrives at our warehouse and your space is ready, we’ll coordinate installation at your convenience.

We aim to stay ahead of your schedule — in most cases, we’re ready before you are!

We strongly recommend professional installation for all custom items due to the complexity and precision involved. Our designs are unique and often require specialized skills and a deep understanding of our product systems.

We speak from experience, and we ask that you trust in our process. Professional installation ensures the best results, protects your investment, and guarantees your warranty. We also manage all after-sales service, and without overseeing the product from start to finish, we’re unable to deliver the level of support and accountability your project deserves.

By allowing us to handle the installation, you avoid costly errors and ensure the long-term integrity of your OPPEIN products.

For our Ready-to-Assemble Kitchen and Walk-in Closet systems, we strongly recommend professional installation by our team. These spaces still require a high level of precision, planning, and experience to ensure proper fit, function, and finish.

For smaller RTA items, self-installation is possible. In these cases, you’re welcome to collect the packaged items directly from our warehouse. However, please note that we do not provide installation manuals, so we recommend hiring a professional installer who is experienced with similar systems.

We speak from experience and ask that you trust in our process — especially for more complex spaces. When we manage installation, we can ensure the quality, protect your warranty, and provide comprehensive after-sales support. Without control over the full process, we may not be able to support the project as it should be supported.
